Our law firm created the first pilot project for legal interpreting in Gerneral Sessions Court in Shelby County and in the State of Tennessee. Our project trained over 80 interpreters with ethics workshops sponsored out law firm and language training by the National Association of Judiciary Interpreters. Our pilot project in the early nineties culminated with the Tennessee Supreme Court ultimately adopting the Judicial Interpreter’s Rules for all criminal proceedings in Tennessee.
